John Ternus has begun his tenure as Apple’s CEO, succeeding Tim Cook after 15 years, and immediately signaled a pivotal moment for the company.
In his first memo to staff, Ternus called Apple’s upcoming launch “huge,” pointing to an event scheduled for September 9. Reports suggest the event will unveil the company’s first foldable iPhone and a broader rollout of its improved Siri AI, aiming to close the gap with competitors like ChatGPT and Claude.
