To celebrate America's 250th birthday, a group of 277 randomly selected Americans participated in a 20-minute online debate using a hyper-communication platform called Thinkscape.
The debate, facilitated by AI agents, allowed the group to discuss and debate issues in real-time, converging on a set of top answers. The group chose the internet, advances in medicine, and spreading democracy as the top three innovations America has contributed to the world.
The internet was chosen for its profound impact on communication, information, and education, while advances in medicine were recognized for saving and prolonging hundreds of millions of lives worldwide. Spreading democracy was seen as a significant global contribution, with the US Constitution serving as a blueprint for representative government and inspiring democratic movements worldwide.
