Toto Wolff told reporters that Ferrari is likely to continue challenging Mercedes’ dominance for the remainder of the 2026 Formula 1 campaign, following Charles Leclerc’s victory at the British Grand Prix.
Mercedes had adapted quickly to the new 2026 regulations, taking wins in the opening six rounds. Ferrari, however, narrowed the gap with a substantial upgrade package introduced for the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.
Wolff’s remarks suggest a tighter championship battle ahead, with both teams expected to keep developing their cars as the season progresses.
