Toto Wolff has expressed confidence in George Russell's ability to recover from his recent disappointment in the Monaco Grand Prix. Russell failed to score points after receiving a drive-through penalty, finishing 12th in the final classification.
Wolff attributed the penalty to a 'mistake' made by Mercedes and believes Russell will quickly regain his form. He noted that Russell's performance is not a question of ability, but rather having a car that inspires confidence.

Russell's recent struggles have allowed teammate Kimi Antonelli to open up a 68-point lead in the standings. Despite this, Wolff remains cautious and is working with Russell to analyze the data and identify areas for improvement.
