Mercedes junior Payton Westcott claimed her first F1 Academy win at Zandvoort on Saturday, converting pole position into a lights-to-flag victory in the Reverse Grid Race.
Westcott started from Reverse Grid pole after Zoe Florescu’s qualifying result was disqualified for a technical breach. She maintained a clean run through two Safety Car restarts and a 17-lap race, winning by nearly two-tenths of a second. Alba Larsen and Nina Gademan completed the podium for MP Motorsport, while team mate Esmee Kosterman scored her first points of the season in fourth.

Ella Lloyd recovered from a midfield start to finish fifth, Rachel Robertson took sixth, and Ava Dobson claimed the final point in eighth with the fastest lap. Alisha Palmowski now faces pressure to perform in Sunday’s Feature Race after lining up on pole.
