George Russell took a well-deserved win at the Austrian Grand Prix, managing the race effectively despite pressure from Max Verstappen. Russell built a 10-second lead after the stops and maintained it to the end, with Verstappen closing in but unable to make a move for the win.
Kimi Antonelli also had a strong race, recovering from a messy start to take third place. He was left out long for his first stint, which cost him time, but was rapid in the final stint, closing in on Verstappen.

The result is a strong one for Mercedes, with both cars scoring well and bringing home good points. The team is aware that the competition is tight and will need to continue improving to maintain their position.
