Toprak Razgatlioglu finished 15th at the Sachsenring MotoGP, salvaging a world championship point due to crashes from other riders.
Razgatlioglu struggled with set-up and riding style for the special tyres used at the circuit, which he hadn't raced at since the Red Bull Rookies Cup. He was surprised by Cal Crutchlow's Honda, which had more grip than his Yamaha.
Razgatlioglu re-passed Crutchlow after the Englishman's tyres started to drop, but was overall disappointed with his performance, citing the different tyres used each weekend as a major problem.
