Toprak Razgatlioglu expressed dissatisfaction with his best MotoGP result to date in Hungary, citing an engine braking setting change as a mistake. The Pramac Yamaha rider rose from 18th on the grid to 13th in the sprint and eventually finished 11th in the grand prix. Razgatlioglu believes the change, intended to cure rear wheel locking, backfired and cost him a top 10 finish. He had the pace for a top 10, achieving a 1m39.6s lap time on the last lap, but struggled to pass other riders due to losing speed on the straights.
