Pramac team director Gino Borsoi confirmed Jack Miller will leave the squad at the end of the 2026 MotoGP season, calling the decision personally difficult. Borsoi insisted Miller “deserves to remain” but acknowledged that sport sometimes forces teams and riders apart, even when both sides value the relationship.
Miller, who joined Pramac in 2018 and returned in 2025 for Yamaha’s new V4 era, managed a season-best eighth-place finish this year. His departure clears space for Moto2 champion Izan Guevara in 2027, while Miller is expected to join Yamaha’s WorldSBK effort next season after two years racing the factory R1 in the Suzuka 8 Hours.
Pramac owner Paolo Campinoti framed Miller as one of the riders who left a lasting mark on the team, vowing the Australian would always be part of the Prima Pramac family. Miller’s teammate Toprak Razgatlioglu is the only Yamaha MotoGP rider retained for 2027, with Jorge Martin and Ai Ogura set to form the new Monster Yamaha lineup.
