Pirelli has detailed the tyre compounds that will be on offer for the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix, the tenth race of the season at Spa‑Francorchamps. The hard, medium and soft slicks will be the C2, C3 and C4 compounds respectively, matching the circuit’s demanding layout.
Drivers will receive two sets of the white‑marked hard tyre, three sets of the yellow‑marked medium, and eight sets of the red‑marked soft tyre. An additional soft set is reserved for any driver who reaches Q3 in qualifying. Teams also have access to the green intermediate tyre and the blue full‑wet tyre if conditions require, and all competitors must use at least two different slick compounds during a dry race.

Spa’s Ardennes micro‑climate and recent resurfacing mean grip levels can vary, especially after the 24 Hours of Spa left extra rubber on the track. Pirelli notes that high ambient temperatures—reaching 55 °C during the endurance event—could accelerate tyre wear, potentially prompting two‑stop strategies. With the new aerodynamic packages expected to aid downforce balance, the harder compounds are likely to dominate Sunday’s race.
