Pfaff Motorsports claimed victory in the Michelin GT Challenge at Virginia International Raceway, with drivers Sandy Mitchell and Andrea Caldarelli behind the wheel. Caldarelli started from pole position, but Mitchell took the final stint and crossed the line 1.517 seconds ahead on the 3.27-mile, 18-turn road course.
This marks Caldarelli and Pfaff’s second straight win in the series, extending their momentum after a prior victory. The team’s Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo 2 took full advantage of track conditions and strategy to hold off competitors.
Ford Racing’s Ben Barker and Dennis Olson rounded out the podium, highlighting the tight competition in the GTD class. The result underscores Pfaff’s growing dominance in IMSA’s endurance racing landscape.
