Sami Pajari stretched his World Rally Championship lead in Paraguay to 24.1 seconds after Hyundai’s Hayden Paddon lost ground overnight. The Toyota driver’s margin grew from 11.9 seconds, putting him in position for a third straight victory in the event.
Adrien Fourmaux delivered a strong performance, cutting into Elfyn Evans’ third-place advantage with a series of stage wins. Evans now faces pressure from both Fourmaux and the charging Finn, who continues to push hard in the mixed conditions.
Heavy rain disrupted the service park instead of the expected stages, adding unpredictable challenges to the rally. The weather shift forced crews to adapt quickly as the fight for the podium intensified.
