Sébastien Ogier is set to return to the World Rally Championship in Paraguay next week after recovering from a high-speed crash at Rally Finland. The reigning champion and his stand-in co-driver Julien Ingrassia escaped their GR Yaris unaided after it rolled multiple times, though both were taken to hospital for checks.
Ogier, who was leading the event at the time of the crash, says he has been cleared to compete in the upcoming Paraguay round. The team confirmed the decision after medical assessments following the incident.
The championship resumes in South America with the Paraguay event, where Ogier will look to continue his title defense.
