Almost a month after the Nürburgring 24 Hours, officials announced that the #84 Red Bull Team ABT Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2, which had originally finished second, was disqualified. Post‑race inspections showed the car exceeded the series‑allowed power output, a technical breach that led the team to forgo an appeal.
The sanction promoted the #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 to second place and elevated the #99 ROWE Racing BMW M4 GT3 onto the podium in third. The adjustment also nudged Max Verstappen’s Mercedes‑AMG GT3 entry up to 37th after it had led much of the race before encountering a problem.

Mercedes‑AMG Team RAVENOL’s #80 Mercedes‑AMG GT3 remains the winner, with Walkenhorst and ROWE now occupying the official top three. The revised standings are now the definitive result, and the series will monitor any further technical inquiries that could affect future endurance events.
