Kevin Magnussen made his NASCAR Cup debut on Sunday, starting 21st and running inside the top 20 for part of the event. He secured a bonus point for the fastest lap near the end of the race.
Magnussen finished 27th in the 39-car field after staying out late on old tires, anticipating a caution that never came.
The debut was also marked by a tense confrontation with Noah Gragson, where Magnussen told Gragson to "f*** off".
