Legoland Windsor Resort announced that a Lego‑themed Formula 1 experience will headline its 2026 Lego Festival, running from 20 July to 31 August. The attraction anchors a brand‑new Thrill Zone that sits alongside four other interactive areas—Music, Creative, Chill Out and Play—transforming the park into a week‑long celebration of building and speed.
The Thrill Zone will feature the Brick Stop Challenge, where teams race to swap tyres on a life‑size Lego F1 car in the fastest time possible. Guests can also step into the role of a race engineer, constructing and testing their own Lego F1 vehicles, and enjoy the Pit Lane Hype Show, a live drum and percussion performance built from tools and bricks. A special focus on the all‑female junior series F1 Academy aims to encourage more girls to explore motorsport, while photo ops with Lego pit‑crew characters and a winner’s podium add extra fun.
Neil Poulter, vice‑president of Legoland Windsor, said the festival is “built for kids and powered by play,” emphasizing that the Lego F1 showcase brings a race‑day atmosphere to families. Entry to the festival is included with standard park admission and forms part of a broader Lego Festival programme across the UK.
