The International Race of Champions (IROC) series will make its return to competition this Saturday at the Freedom 250 Grand Prix weekend in Washington, D.C. The eight-driver field will tackle the 1.7-mile street circuit, framed by the U.S. Capitol Building.
Two 20-minute races are scheduled back-to-back, with the first starting at 3:00 p.m. EST and the second following at 4:00 p.m. EST. The compact format keeps the action tight and the schedule predictable for fans.
This marks the first time the revived IROC series has raced on a street course, adding a fresh challenge for the veteran lineup.
