Corey Heim captured the NASCAR Truck Series race at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday afternoon by executing two blocking maneuvers on Kaden Honeycutt during the final lap. The decisive moves prevented Honeycutt from overtaking and handed Heim the win.
Honeycutt, piloting the Tricon Garage No. 11— the same truck Heim drove to claim the championship last season—has been part of 23 victories across the past three years. Despite several attempts to pass Heim, he was unable to find a clear path to the finish line.
After the race, Honeycutt voiced his displeasure with the blocking tactics, while Heim’s maneuver added another triumph to his growing résumé in the series.
