Haas F1 will not rush decisions on their 2027 driver line-up, team principal Ayao Komatsu confirmed ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix. Komatsu emphasized supporting current drivers Ollie Bearman and Esteban Ocon, who have faced inconsistent results this season despite a strong start.
The team has gone six races without points, falling behind midfield rivals due to slower development under the new regulations. Komatsu acknowledged Haas’s struggles to match the pace of competitors like Racing Bulls and Alpine, despite early-season promise.
Bearman leads Ocon in the standings with 18 points to three, though he has cited car inconsistencies as a persistent issue. Komatsu framed the challenge as a team-wide effort to improve the environment for drivers, stressing that upgrades and fixes take time to materialize under current constraints.
Haas aims to regain competitiveness by refining their approach, with Komatsu expressing confidence in the team’s ability to navigate the tough period.
