Bernie Ecclestone, former Formula 1 chief, has expressed support for the series to adopt bigger engines.
This move is part of discussions for a potential V8 engine switch by 2030 or 2031, led by FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem and F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali.
The FIA aims to introduce louder, cheaper, and bigger engines in the series' next rules cycle, with Ecclestone's backing adding weight to the proposal.
