Fabio di Giannantonio, Ducati's top‑placed rider in the MotoGP standings, finished fourth at the Dutch Grand Prix in Assen, narrowing the gap to the championship leader to 16 points. The podium was dominated by Trackhouse, with Ai Ogura and Raul Fernandez taking the top two spots, while Aprilia's Jorge Martin, who benefited from Marco Bezzecchi's early crash, claimed third and seized the title lead.
Di Giannantonio praised his own performance but expressed concern over Aprilia's pace, saying the Italian team’s bike appears to have an edge beyond rider talent. He stressed that Ducati must find improvements for the GP26 package if they hope to challenge the Aprilia RS‑GPs in the remaining rounds.

Despite the pressure, he noted that Ducati's factory support remains solid, with no change in the level of assistance since joining the program. Looking ahead, the rider hopes the team can accelerate development before the next race, aiming to close the gap and re‑assert Ducati's fight for the championship.
