Corvette clinched the LMGT3 class at the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans, marking the American marque’s tenth triumph in the event. TF Sport’s #33 entry, which started 17th out of 25, held off strong challenges from Lexus and Aston Martin to finish ahead of the field.
The British team gambled by slotting Bronze‑rated driver Ben Keating into the car for the early stint, despite it being his first FIA WEC appearance of the year after an elbow injury. Keating kept the Corvette in contention, then handed the wheel to teammates Nicky Catsburg and Jonny Edgar. Edgar’s five consecutive stints in the closing hours proved decisive, prompting Keating to call the drive “maybe the drive of the race” and a career‑defining moment for Edgar.

Lexus’s #78 secured second place, with drivers Hadrien David, Tom van Rompuy and Jack Hawksworth posting the fastest LMGT3 laps. Aston Martin’s #23 rounded out the podium, though its sister Vantage, which had taken pole, retired with gearbox trouble while running in the top three.

The FIA WEC season moves on to the Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo on 10‑12 July, where teams will look to build on Le Mans momentum.
