Alpine F1 driver Franco Colapinto described a Milan theft as the worst day of his life after thieves took his clothes and passport during the summer break. The 23-year-old Argentine posted about the incident on Instagram on 6 August, then shared more details in a follow-up.
Colapinto said the robbery left him stranded in Italy without travel documents, forcing him to arrange replacements before returning to his team. The timing disrupted his planned break and added unexpected logistical hurdles.
He framed the theft as a frustrating setback but downplayed its severity beyond the immediate inconvenience. Alpine has not commented publicly on the incident.
