The British Grand Prix qualifying session saw Ferrari and Mercedes take the top spots, with Charles Leclerc and Kimi Antonelli leading the pack. George Russell had a disappointing session, starting fourth behind his title rival Antonelli and two Ferraris.
Max Verstappen also had a poor qualifying, starting seventh and struggling with his car's balance and straight-line speed.
Other winners from the session include Isack Hadjar, who outqualified Verstappen, and Valtteri Bottas, who secured his first intra-team qualifying victory in seven sessions. Losers from the session include McLaren, who struggled with pace, and Aston Martin, who were consigned to the back of the grid.
