Marco Bezzecchi claimed pole position for the 2026 Aragon MotoGP after a tight qualifying battle with Marc Marquez at MotorLand Aragón. Bezzecchi set the fastest time in Q2, holding off Marquez’s late charge by 0.089 seconds. Alex Marquez completed the front row alongside Trackhouse Aprilia’s Raul Fernandez.
Pedro Acosta, Jorge Martin, and Francesco Bagnaia filled the next three spots, while Johann Zarco made a strong return to Qualifying 2 in his first race back from injury. The 11-lap Sprint race starts at 3pm local time.

Bezzecchi’s victory extends his title lead over Martin, though Marquez remains a threat with a seven-win streak at the track. Two injured riders—Johann Zarco and Fermin Aldeguer—attempt returns this weekend.
