Pecco Bagnaia described his Ducati MotoGP performance at Aragon as “frustrated and nervous,” marking another difficult Friday session. Team-mate Marc Marquez, by contrast, remained competitive, finishing inside the top five while Bagnaia struggled with grip issues that have lingered since Silverstone.
Bagnaia called his afternoon “unlucky,” noting a sharp decline in confidence since the British GP. He cited problems with braking, corner entry, and rear grip, admitting he nearly crashed multiple times. “I struggle to do normal things” on the bike, he said, adding that even small throttle inputs sent the rear into a slide. His 13th-place finish left him needing a strong Saturday to salvage the weekend.
The Ducati Lenovo rider acknowledged the team’s efforts but admitted his bike still lacks the grip he needs. He hopes a planned adjustment will improve his situation, though he conceded the track’s grip itself wasn’t the issue. Bagnaia pointed to Alex Marquez’s contrasting form as inspiration, urging himself to match the Spaniard’s progress.
