Adrian Newey has spoken out about the structural problems behind Aston Martin's disastrous 2026 F1 season. The team struggled with huge reliability problems with its Honda power unit, barely able to run in testing and the first few rounds of the season.
Once the team was able to get meaningful running, it became clear that the AMR26 itself also had significant issues.
Newey stated that Aston Martin's tools and procedures have not been up to standard, contributing to the team's poor performance.
