He contrasted today’s paddock atmosphere with historic rivalries like Valentino Rossi versus Sete Gibernau, or Mick Doohan versus Àlex Crivillé, calling those tensions the "spicy" element modern racing lacks. Acosta’s approach extends to his on-track aggression, where he claims indifference to opponents’ identities.
With two Sprint wins and no full MotoGP victories in 26 months, Acosta sits seventh in the championship ahead of the final ten rounds. His move to Ducati in 2027 marks a high-stakes shift as he chases his first premier-class win.
