The job market is showing signs of growth, with total nonfarm payroll employment increasing by 172,000 jobs in May. However, wages are not keeping up with inflation, rising 3.4% in May while the Consumer Price Index is projected to be 4.2%.

Experts note that while artificial intelligence may be a concern for some job seekers, it is not the primary reason for job losses. Instead, employers are recognizing the value of hiring veterans, who bring unique skills and experiences to the workforce.
