Tytan Technologies, a Munich-based counter-drone systems maker, is set to launch a new factory in Germany. The facility will have the capacity to manufacture 3,000 autonomous interceptors per month, with production scheduled to start in August.
The company's interceptor drones have been used in Ukraine, providing a cost-efficient solution to counter airborne threats. According to CEO Balázs Nagy, Tytan's systems are 200 times cheaper than legacy systems.
The company is expanding its manufacturing footprint, with potential new locations in Poland and Hungary. Tytan offers a range of autonomous interceptors, including the EOS and METIS, which are powered by AI.
