Turkey’s new electronic warfare jet, the HAVA SOJ, has been spotted in new imagery, marking a significant step towards its operational status. The aircraft, designed to blind enemy air defenses from a distance, is part of Turkey's efforts to develop its defense aerospace capabilities.
The HAVA SOJ is loosely similar to Western electronic attack platforms and features a range of sensors and jammers. Its primary mission is electronic attack, using powerful active electronically scanned array antennas to jam enemy radars and radio frequency sensors.

The aircraft's development has been long-delayed, but its emergence suggests that Turkey is making progress in its defense industry. With its advanced capabilities, the HAVA SOJ could attract foreign interest, particularly from countries like Pakistan.
