Iran launched several ballistic missiles toward Kuwait and Bahrain, but all failed to hit their intended targets. US and Bahrain air defense forces intercepted three missiles launched at Bahrain. US Central Command also shot down three one-way attack drones launched by Iran toward civilian mariners.
American forces conducted self-defense strikes on an Iranian military ground control station on Qeshm Island. No US personnel were harmed.
The attacks are part of a series of tit-for-tat strikes between the US and Iran, which have become regular since the ceasefire deal was reached. Iran claimed the strikes were in response to US attacks, while the US said it was defending against unwarranted Iranian aggression.
