The counter-drone market is experiencing a surge in demand for miniaturized radars, with Echodyne's CEO Eben Frankenberg predicting a tenfold growth by 2030. The company is currently shipping radars as fast as it can produce them and will soon open a new facility to increase production capacity.
The rise of drones as a major threat on the battlefield has driven this demand, with the Ukraine war highlighting their impact. Echodyne's radars are being integrated into various counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) offerings, with at least 29 stands displaying these systems at the Eurosatory defense show.

The company's relatively small and affordable radars are benefiting from the surging interest in anti-drone warfare, which requires inexpensive yet effective systems to counter the large number of cheap, lethal drones on the battlefield.
