Milrem Robotics has opened an assembly line in the Netherlands for its THeMIS unmanned ground vehicles. The plant, run in conjunction with VDL Defentec, has already produced its first UGV for the Dutch government.
The facility is part of a larger effort to supply Ukrainian forces with over 100 such robots.
The production of these robots is significant, as Ukraine has seen a surge in the use of ground robots for frontline logistics, with over 9,000 missions run in March alone.
