Boeing has revealed the latest iteration of its MQ-28 Ghost Bat collaborative combat aircraft, featuring a 25% larger wing and internal weapons bays. The Block 3 drone can carry AIM-120 AMRAAMs internally, a significant development in the CCA market.
The new drone also boasts increased fuel and payload capacity, as well as beyond-line-of-sight control, allowing it to operate at unlimited standoff distances. The internal weapons bays can carry a single AIM-120 or two Small Diameter Bomb precision-guided munitions.

The MQ-28 Block 3 was unveiled at the ILA Berlin airshow, where Boeing is partnering with Rheinmetall to offer the drone to the German military. The German Air Force is expected to make a decision on its CCA requirement soon, with Boeing hoping to deliver the aircraft by 2029.
